This branch of Area Erectors offers another service in the steel building industry. When the purchase of Quality Erectors took place in the summer of 2002, Quality Erectors had a key relationship with Varco-Pruden Buildings (VP). VP is a leading manufacturer in the building systems industry. Area has continued that relationship by offering pre-engineered building packages to our customers who prefer to have a single-source responsibility for steel & erection.
We work directly with General Contractors, Construction Managers, and/or Owners. Our clear-cut responsibilities to supply and install make it easy to coordinate schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget.
Projects have come to us via plans and specifications as well as a simple 1 page sketch that we transform into a full proposal. Whether you have a conceptual drawing or more developed project drawings, we can fill in the blanks and offer value engineering ideas that will save you time and money.
Our office personnel have tremendous amount of experience with the metal building industry. Our sales staff has over 70 years of experience, of which 46 years were working directly for the manufacturers in project management, estimating, sales and customer service positions. Once a project gets the green light for construction, our project management team will work closely with you to insure all coordination takes place for a pain free experience.
Area Erectors is partnered with VP Buildings. VP is a world leader in the steel systems building industry. Whether you need a functional warehouse, an elaborate retail store or an extraordinary office building, VP Buildings offers not only the design capabilities, but also the flexibility and sophistication to fulfill the needs of almost any structure. VP is head-quartered in Memphis, TN, but has design and manufacturing capabilities throughout the globe. Area works closely with the engineering and fabrication plant in Evansville, Wisconsin.
In its efforts to enhance its value to its customers, Area Erectors is constantly looking for ways to ensure its workers and meet and surpass industry standards. Membership and certification by organizations that guide the industry in defining the standards are very valuable ways of ensuring that Area maintains its growth and industry-leading status.
In 2001, Area became an Advanced Certified Steel Erector (ACSE) as evaluated and certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). This certification is given only to those companies that can adhere to strict standards and practices set forth by the AISC. Inspection and evaluation is done both internally and by the AISC to make sure that practices and quality are kept as high as possible. To learn more, view the AISC certification requirements.
